मै चल ही तो पड़ा था, उस पगडण्डी पर अकेला ,

उस खामोश पगडण्डी पर, जो शायद मेरी मंजिल, 

वक्त जाती होगी, हवा चुपचाप थे, देवदार नगें थे।

कोई शह गुजार न था, सोचता था, उस ढलान  पर ही तो जाना है ।
 

चलता रहा उस ढलान तक, लगा अभी और आगे जाना है ।

कितने ढलाने आनी है, अभी हठात थककर बैठ जाता हूँ ।





 

बटोरता हूँ यादों का मंजर, किसी ने भी तो नहीं रोका था ।
 

इन अंजान राहों पर जाने से,

यहाँ कोई सदा  भी तो नहीं अपने मन में यहाँ लौट चलो, 

अपने घर की ओर मैंने तलाशा अपना घर ,

वो  यहाँ था और न वहां था  ।

थी तो सिर्फ उसकी लाश, टुकड़ों में विखरी ।

यह कैसी दासता है ,जो सुनाई नहीं जा सकती ।

लवों पर आ नहीं सकती, लवों पर जा नहीं सकती।

हमी को खुद जुदा करके किया, किया मजबूर अपने से।

यह अपनों की जुदाई है,बताई नहीं जा सकती।

ग़मों के  मोड़ पर,  हमने बसाई एक बस्ती थी।

बसाई थी जिसे हमने उजारी जा नहीं सकती ।
 

हमारा आशियाँ हमको वीरान सा लगता है।

मगर फिर आशीष बांकी भुलाई जा नहीं सकती।
 

जिन्हें हमने सुना  था गैर को अपना बनाते है।
 

यह उनकी कैसी फितरत है भुलाई नहीं जा सकती।

हंस हंस कर किया पाप।
 

रो-रो कर भुगतना पड़ता है ।
 

हाथ से लगाएं गांठों को, 

एक दिन दांतों से खेलना पड़ता है ।
 

कष्ट सहकर किया तप, 

एक दिन सूरज शक्ति का कारण बनता है।

धीरे -धीरे किया अभ्यास और ध्यान।

एक दिन अवश्य फल मिलता है।
  
दृढ संकल्प से किया कठोर परिश्रम।

देखना, दुर्भाग्य अवश्य ही बदलता है।

यह रूप सुधा यह मस्ती,

यह कोमल कोमल बांहें ,

नस -नस में प्यासे सपने ,

यह उलझी प्यारी चाहें ,

आँचल उठा के, हुश्न की सौगात दीजिए ।

ठहरने लगी है रात कोई बात कीजिए ।

Time must have passed, the winds were silent, the cedars were bare.
There was no check, thought, you have to go down that slope.

Walked up that slope, thought to go further.
How many things to come, I sit tired now.
I am gathering memories, no one stopped me.

By going on these unknown paths,
There is no one here forever, return here in your mind,
I searched my house,
